We don't know about you, but we were frustrated. Frustrated with the sad, puny collection of stories by Black authors and other marginalized voices at your average bookstore. Frustrated with not being able to find the latest and greatest renowned Black authors have to offer. Frustrated that stories that center Black lives and Black experiences were pushed to the side or hidden on bottom shelves.

Here at Read & Found Books, we're committed to uplifting books by Black authors and other marginalized voices. We're an independent bookstore with a focus on promoting and making more easily available the many fiction stories coming out of our communities every day.
